Overview

The Level 2 Diploma in Plastering qualification has been developed for achievement in a training environment which means you do not need to be employed to undertake this qualification.

This qualification enable you to demonstrate and recognise your skills, knowledge and understanding so you can work as a plasterer within the construction industry.

  • Knowledge of construction technology
  • Prepare background surfaces and plaster materials
  • Apply plaster materials to internal backgrounds
  • Produce components from moulds
  • Form sand and cement screeds
  • Health, safety and welfare in construction and associated industries
  • Knowledge of technical information, quantities and communication with others
  • Maths and/ or English (if not achieved at grade 4).

Successful completion of the Level 1 Diploma in Plastering.
