As a standalone qualification, or as a first step towards the intermediate and advanced levels, it will allow you to move up to further study in computerised accounting, bookkeeping or accountancy. This is an ideal course if you are a practising or part-qualified bookkeeper who already has a basic knowledge of manual bookkeeping, you are looking for new finance administration skills to enhance your career prospects or you own your own a small business and want a basic understanding of computerised accounting
