Digital media is set to dominate 21st century culture and society. This course gives you the opportunity to study digital media and be trained in tools to understand and make use of it creatively and critically. While the fields of media and communication incorporate the dynamics of film, television, radio and the press, this pathway addresses how digital processes are transforming culture, the economy and society.
This pathway equips you with the skills needed to follow a professional career in knowledge-based workplaces; whether businesses or charities/non-profit organisations, museums or marketing agencies, new media production companies, editing and copywriting companies, or public relations firms.
You will have the opportunity to visit media companies during your capital visit and, to help prepare you for your future career, you will be able to use the state-of-the-art facilities at our outstanding college. The following qualifications are included in this pathway.

We recommend that you have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above. These must include a grade 4 in English Language, a grade 5 in Mathematics and two grade 5 in Science GCSEs.
