Overview
Developed with employers and professional bodies, this qualification identifies knowledge, understanding and technical skills needed from you entering the sector in the coming years. Work experience forms a large part of the study programme with learners needing to complete over 300 hours off-site work experience.
This is a broad-based course for those with a passion for working with crops or livestock. It combines theory and practical work to fully equip you for the world of work. A range of study pathways over one or two years are available to suit your needs.

How will it be delivered?
Entry requirements
Four GCSEs at grade 4 or C or equivalent, preferably including English and Maths, or a relevant BTEC Level 2 / First Diploma or equivalent. A satisfactory reference is also needed.
