Overview

In the diverse engineering industry, you will develop a wide range of basic engineering skills and the course is ideally suited to people who wish to improve their education by progressing from Level 1 to Level 2. The course is made up of mandatory and optional units, such as welding and fabrication skills. It is possible to complete Level 1 and Level 2 in just one academic year and this an option for those wishing to achieve an apprenticeship who haven’t secured an employer by September.

Following completion of the Level 1 and Level 2 Diplomas in Performing, Engineering Operations, students can progress on to the BTEC Level 2 Land-Based Engineering ran at the college.
