THE COURSE

The qualification will help you gain an understanding of the onsite construction industry and the sector.

This qualification focuses on the development of knowledge and skills needed to work in the onsite construction industry which will prepare students to enter the industry or progress to higher level study or advanced apprenticeships.

The structure of the qualification is designed to give learners the breadth of knowledge and understanding across onsite construction sector but also equips them with necessary occupational and core skills.

Health and Safety

Construction science principles

Sustainability

Plastering specialism

Health and safety

Design and planning

Presentation

Internal plastering systems

External rendering systems

Produce and fix mouldings

Repair damage to surfaces.

Entry requirements

GCSE’s at 4 or above including English and Maths.

On completion of this qualification, you will have obtained the skills, knowledge and understanding to progress on to a higher level supervisory or management qualifications, e.g. Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Supervision, or progress into employment in your chosen trade.
