The aim of this qualification is to introduce you to key single-entry and double entry manual bookkeeping skills. You will also learn how to use basic spreadsheets.The introductory level will suit you if:•You would like a solid introduction to bookkeeping - or just a refresher•You need bookkeeping skills for your business•You are interested in running bookkeeping services for local businesses•You are not currently in employment or training and you need workplace skills•You would like to acquire new skills to help with a change in your career

Progression: It will demonstrate your increased knowledge of basic bookkeeping and spreadsheet skills to potential employers and provide you with a recognised accounting qualification.On completion of the course you may be able to progress to AAT Level 2 Bookeeping or Level 2 Certificate in Accounting.
