The aim of this qualification is to develop your understanding of the bookkeeping principles to advance your career in finance. In particular how to execute the principles of double entry bookkeeping and understanding journals, control accounts and a trial balance.

Although no formal qualifications are required, it is essential that you have a good level of literacy, numeracy and IT. Completing the level 1 Bookkeeping prior to enrolling on this course would be advantageous

It will demonstrate your increased knowledge of accounting to potential employers and will assist you to progress your accounting career. Once completed you will be able to move on to AAT Diploma in Accounting Level's 3 then 4.
